The Justice Action Network sponsored the John Calipari Satellite Camps, a series of youth basketball camps at different locations throughout Kentucky for boys and girls, ages 7 – 17. Through various local organizations and advocacy groups, JAN was able to identify and send ten system-impacted children to attend each camp.

Calipari spoke extensively on the impact of the criminal justice system and the need for reforms in front of local press and community members in attendance at each of the camps and tweeted to his 1.6 million followers.
