“Candidates across the political spectrum are running on platforms centered around criminal justice reform, and voters are now considering these issues when they cast their ballots. That’s a testament to the progress we’ve made as a movement, but there’s a lot of work left to be done,” said Holly Harris, Executive Director of Justice Action Network. “That’s why we’re launching Unconventional - a new series that will highlight voices from the right, left, and center, who are working every day to change laws that change lives. Between now and Election Day, we’re going to shine a spotlight on everything from racial disparities in our justice system, to ‘second chance’ economic opportunity, challenges in reentry, and policing - issues that are now impacting every American family.”
