Louisville Courier Journal: Mitch McConnell says Senate will vote on criminal justice reform bill

Holly Harris, executive director of the Justice Action Network, a bipartisan group favoring the changes, said early accusations of McConnell stalling the bill could be better described as “charting a path for a floor vote and just outlining the challenges we needed to overcome.”

Harris, a Kentucky native who spent years as a Republican strategist in the state, called the bill’s goal ‘the civil rights issue of my generation.”
