The News Enterprise: Criminal justice reform scholarship established to support ECTC students

Elizabethtown Community and Technical College has collaborated with the Justice Action Network to support students pursuing careers in criminal justice. Two students will receive $5,000 scholarships for the 2021-22 academic year.

The fund was established by a donation from Justice Action Network, a national nonprofit that employs a wide range of education, advocacy and mobilization efforts to pass bipartisan reforms that make the criminal justice system fairer, more efficient and more effective.

With all other qualifications being equal, priority will be given to women and minority students who have been impacted by the criminal justice system and who intend to pursue careers in criminal justice. Applicants may be current or prospective ECTC students. Scholarship applications can be submitted at elizabethtown.kctcs.edu/scholarships with a priority deadline of April 1.
